A Little Ladybug Garden Party

I recently designed a Little Ladybug Garden Party for my friend, Meahgen. Meahgen wanted a ladybug/flower theme for her daughter's upcoming 1st birthday party but she wanted something a little softer than the normal "red and black". So, we decided on using pink, green, and black as our primary color scheme. I helped set up the party this weekend and I am so happy with the way that everything turned out!

A grouping of pictures were displayed of the birthday girl's first year of life for everyone to enjoy. The "Happy One" banner was designed to go along with the ladybug and flower theme.

The Dessert Table included color coordinating M&M's and Jelly beans as well as the AMAZING Ladybug cake and mini cupcakes by Dina of Buttercream. I incorporated flowers into the tablescape by making flower shaped labels for the candy containers and "flower" balloons.

A light lunch was also provided for the guests and snacks (Cheerios, Puffs, pretzels, and goldfish) were presented in flower pots with flower stick labels.

"Bug Juice" and customized mini water bottles

The beautiful flower arrangements were done by a local florist.

This area was set up for guests to leave a special birthday message for the birthday girl on a framed mat with a copy of the party invitation.

Dina of Buttercream also made these FABULOUS flower cookie favors for the guests to take home. We displayed the favors in tins with spanish moss and asked each person to "pick a flower" to take home and enjoy.

I had so much fun designing this party. Happy Birthday, Emmy!
